Stabat Mater

Stabat Mater is a sacred choral composition by the Italian composer Luigi Boccherini, composed in 1781. The work is in the Classical style with chamber-like textures, a prominent role for the cello, clear melodic lines and settings for solo voices and choir, and it belongs to Boccherini's later sacred output during his years in Spain.
