Tutankhamun is an album by the Art Ensemble of Chicago, released in 1969. The album is rooted in avant-garde and free jazz and has collective improvisation, extended instrumental techniques, prominent percussion and elements drawn from African rhythmic and ritual practices; it comes from the group's early Paris period when they developed their ensemble approach.
