Chants d'Auvergne is a collection of folk songs arranged as a song cycle by French composer Joseph Canteloube, composed and published in stages between 1923 and 1930. The work arranges traditional Auvergnat melodies for soprano and orchestra, employing lush orchestration, modal harmonies and pastoral textures, and it represents Canteloube's major project of collecting and presenting regional French folk music.
