Das Jahr is a cycle of twelve piano pieces by the German composer Fanny Hensel, composed in 1841. The work uses Romantic-era piano idioms and short character pieces that suggest seasonal moods, and it was composed late in Hensel's career when she focused on piano writing within the 19th-century domestic repertoire.
