Sonatas
Album by Fryderyk Chopin & Alexander Kobrin
Sonatas is a collection of piano sonatas by Frédéric Chopin, composed in 1839 and 1844. They are part of the Romantic piano repertoire and have stark contrasts of tempo and dynamics, expanded harmonic language, intricate ornamentation and passages that demand high technical skill, and they belong to the later phase of Chopin's career when he explored larger-scale piano forms.
