Expensive Shit is a 1975 studio album by Nigerian musician Fela Ransome Kuti. The music blends extended Afrobeat grooves with funk rhythms, prominent horn arrangements and layered polyrhythms, and it was released during a period when he emphasised politically charged themes that shaped his later work and the development of Afrobeat in West Africa.
