Surfer Rosa and Come On Pilgrim are the second studio album and debut EP by American alternative rock band Pixies, released in 1988 and 1987 respectively. Both releases feature stark loud–quiet dynamics, angular guitar textures and offbeat lyrical imagery, marking an early and influential phase in the band's development and helping to define elements of late 1980s alternative rock.
