Die Bratschensonaten is a set of two sonatas for viola and piano by Johannes Brahms, published in 1894. They are late Romantic chamber works that move between lyrical, songlike passages and darker, more introspective textures and they appear near the end of Brahms's career as part of his late chamber music output.
