Flute and Piccolo Concertos

Album by Antonio Vivaldi & Hans-Martin Linde

Flute and Piccolo Concertos is a collection of concertos by Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi, composed in the early 18th century. These works exemplify Vivaldi's Baroque concerto style, featuring bright, agile wind writing, clear ritornello forms and virtuosic solo passages that broadened the solo repertoire for the transverse flute and piccolo and illustrate his influence on the development of the instrumental concerto.
