Plunderphonic

Album by John Oswald

Plunderphonics is a 1989 album by Canadian composer John Oswald. It is a dense sound collage built from unauthorised samples of pop and classical recordings that Oswald rearranged using electroacoustic and turntable techniques, and it was an early example of sample-based composition that led to legal challenges and debate about copyright.
