Pastels

Pastels is a studio album by American jazz bassist Ron Carter, released in 1976. The music is small-group post-bop jazz that mixes acoustic and electric textures, focuses on warm bass lines, uses subtle harmonic colour and restrained arrangements, and follows his early 1970s work as a leader in modern jazz.
