Symphony No. 8 is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1906. A vast late-Romantic work scored for large orchestra, organ and extended vocal forces, it fuses symphonic and choral elements with dense harmonic language and represents a culmination of Mahler's late symphonic output.
