Cello Concerto in B minor
Album by Antonín Dvořák & Heinrich Schiff & Wiener Philharmoniker & André Previn
The Cello Concerto in B minor is a cello concerto by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, completed in 1895. The work, the composer's only concerto for the instrument, exemplifies the late Romantic style through expansive, lyrical solo writing, richly textured orchestral colours and the influence of Czech folk idioms, and it occupies a central place in the cello repertoire and in Dvořák's later output.
