Symphonies 102 & 103

Symphonies Nos. 102 and 103 are orchestral works by Joseph Haydn, composed and first performed in the mid‑1790s (c. 1794–1795). They exemplify Haydn's mature Classical style, featuring clear sonata‑form structures, inventive thematic development, expanded orchestration with prominent wind writing and dynamic contrasts, and are among his late 'London' symphonies that reflect his final phase of symphonic writing.
