Scorching Beauty and Sun and Steel are the sixth and seventh studio albums by American rock band Iron Butterfly, both released in 1975. They document a move away from the band's late-1960s psychedelic and acid rock roots toward a harder-edged, more conventional rock sound with tighter song structures and prominent electric guitar, reflecting lineup changes and a late-career shift in direction.
