Uprising is a studio album by Jamaican reggae band Bob Marley & The Wailers, released in 1980. Musically it continues the group's roots reggae approach with prominent bass and rhythm guitar interplay, dub-influenced textures and lyrics addressing spiritual and political themes, and it is one of the final studio releases in Marley's career before his death in 1981.
