Piano Seasons

Album by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky & Astor Piazzolla & Eurico Carrapatoso & Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro

Piano Seasons is a piano cycle by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composed in 1876. The set is Romantic-era piano music in the form of short character pieces that feature lyrical melodies and varied piano textures to evoke months of the year, and it occupies a place in Tchaikovsky's output as modest-scale, domestic repertoire compared with his large orchestral works.
