Symphonie nº 4
Album by Anton Bruckner & Orchestre de la Francophonie & Jean‐Philippe Tremblay
Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major is the fourth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed in 1874 with subsequent revisions in later years. The work exemplifies late-Romantic symphonic writing through expansive orchestration, large-scale thematic development and striking contrasts between brass chorales and lyrical passages, and it occupies a key place in Bruckner's mature output and in the development of late-Romantic orchestral repertoire.
