The Seasons and the Children's Album are collections of piano pieces by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composed in 1876 and 1878 respectively. Both comprise short, Romantic-era piano miniatures characterised by lyrical melodies and straightforward pedagogical intent, and they occupy a place in Tchaikovsky's output as accessible works for salon performance and music education that broadened his piano repertoire.
