OU812 is the eighth studio album by American rock band Van Halen, released in 1988. Musically it blends hard rock and pop-metal elements with prominent guitar riffs, melodic vocal hooks and increased use of synthesiser textures, and it is the band's second studio album with their new singer, signalling a continued stylistic shift from their earlier era.
