Violin Concertos Nos. 1–3 are a set of three violin concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed in the early 18th century (c. 1717–1723). They exemplify Baroque concerto practice with ritornello structures, ornamented and virtuosic solo lines set against orchestral and continuo textures, and occupy a key place in Bach's early instrumental output and the development of the concerto genre.
