Turandot is the final opera by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, premiered in 1926. The work showcases Puccini's late Romantic orchestral colour and use of exoticist harmonies with large-scale chorus and orchestra, blending lyricism and dramatic verismo elements and marking his final contribution to the operatic repertoire.
