String Quartets
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Charles Ives & Giuseppe Verdi & Schumann Quartett
String Quartets is a collection of chamber works by Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed between 1772 and 1785. These pieces exemplify Classical-era chamber music with clear textures, balanced interplay among the four instruments and formal clarity, and they mark Mozart's development in contrapuntal technique and his engagement with the stylistic influence of Joseph Haydn during his mature period.
