Brandenburgische Konzerte Nos. 3-5
Album by Johann Sebastian Bach & Linde Consort
Brandenburgische Konzerte Nos. 3-5 are three of the six Brandenburg Concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed in 1721. They are Baroque instrumental works scored for a small ensemble of strings and continuo, built from dense counterpoint, brisk rhythms and clear contrasts between fast and slow movements, and they were written during a period when Bach concentrated on instrumental composition.
