Duo 1988 is an album by Japanese saxophonist Masayoshi Urabe, released in 1988. It has raw free-improv and noise elements built from extended saxophone techniques, intense breath sounds, microtonal squeals and dense sustained tones, and it came early in Urabe's recording career as he explored his improvisational voice.
