Album by Edvard Grieg & Auryn Quartet
String Quartet in G minor, Op. 27 is a string quartet by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg, composed in 1878. The work employs Romantic-era harmonic language and elements of Norwegian folk melody within a four-movement chamber-music framework, and it is Grieg's only string quartet and one of his relatively few chamber works, reflecting his engagement with chamber forms alongside his piano and orchestral output.
