Vertigo

Vertigo is the film score by American composer Bernard Herrmann, released in 1958. The music is characterised by dense string textures, chromatic harmonies and recurring motifs that evoke psychological tension and romantic obsession, and it occupies a pivotal place in Herrmann's late-1950s output and in the development of modern cinematic scoring.
