Symphonie en ré mineur (Symphony in D minor) is a symphony by César Franck, completed in 1888. It is Franck's only symphony and, in his mature late-Romantic style, uses cyclic thematic unity, rich chromatic harmony and expansive orchestration and occupies an important place in the development of the French symphonic tradition.
