"Eroica" Symphony No. 3

Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major, Op. 55, commonly known as the Eroica, is the third symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, completed in 1804. The symphony expanded the scale and complexity of the symphonic form through expansive thematic development, bold harmonic exploration and extended structures, marking a shift from Classical conventions towards the expressive aims associated with the early Romantic era and a major turning point in Beethoven's compositional career.
