Le quattro stagioni is a set of four violin concertos by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, published in 1725. They are programme concertos that depict the seasons through vivid violin solo writing, energetic ritornello structures and clear Baroque orchestration, and they occupy a central place in the development of the solo concerto and in Vivaldi's output.
