Evita
Album by Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber
Evita is the original concept album for the musical Evita by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Tim Rice, released in 1976. The album presents a sung-through, theatrical fusion of rock, operatic and pop elements with narrative-driven lyrics, and represented a further development of Webber and Rice's exploration of large-scale, dramatic musical theatre and the rock-opera form.
