Symphony no. 7 "Song Of The Night"
Album by Gustav Mahler & Yoel Levi & Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Symphony No. 7, often subtitled 'Song of the Night', is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1905. The work employs late-Romantic orchestral language with nocturnal atmospheres, expanded orchestration and contrasting moods across its movements, and occupies a transitional place in Mahler's output as he moved from earlier expansive forms toward more concise and varied structural approaches.
