Universal Beings is an album by American drummer and bandleader Makaya McCraven, released in 2018. It was recorded with ensembles in several cities and blends jazz improvisation and hip hop-influenced rhythms with studio editing and collective performance, and it moved McCraven's work toward larger collaborative projects and edited-composition techniques.
