Cello Suites Nos. 1-3 are a set of three solo cello suites composed by Benjamin Britten between 1964 and 1971. Marked by a blend of modern tonal and modal harmonies, contrapuntal clarity, rhythmic vitality and occasional extended techniques, the suites form part of Britten's late-career output and contributed to the expansion of 20th-century solo cello repertoire.
