Ballades & Impromptus

Album by Fryderyk Chopin & Charles Richard‐Hamelin

Ballades and Impromptus is a collection of solo piano compositions by Frédéric Chopin, composed in the 1830s and early 1840s. They are Romantic-era piano works with lyrical melody, chromatic harmony, expressive rubato and technically demanding passages, and they are from Chopin's mature period when he refined the piano miniature form.
