Evita is a 1976 concept album by Andrew Lloyd Webber (music) and Tim Rice (lyrics), which was later adapted into a stage musical. Musically it blends rock and pop idioms with orchestral and theatrical arrangements in a largely sung-through, narrative-driven musical theatre format that continued the duo's development of large-scale staged works in the 1970s.
