Pièces de viole is a collection of works for viol by the French composer Marin Marais, first published in 1686. The music exemplifies French Baroque style, featuring virtuosic writing for the viol with ornate ornamentation and dance forms, and it helped establish Marais's reputation as a leading viol player and composer in late 17th-century France.
