Bagatelles
Album by Ludwig van Beethoven & Wilhelm Kempff
Bagatelles is a set of short piano pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed and published in several groups between 1793 and 1819. The pieces are small-scale examples of Classical and early Romantic piano writing with concise forms and sudden shifts in mood, and they appear at points in Beethoven's career when he favoured economy of expression between larger works.
