A Midsummer Night's Dream, Opp. 21 and 61, is an overture (Op. 21) and a set of incidental music (Op. 61) by German composer Felix Mendelssohn, composed in 1826 and 1842 respectively. The music combines fleet, scherzo-like orchestral textures, lyrical string writing and moments of vocal and choral colour, and it represents a significant contribution to Mendelssohn's output and to the Romantic repertoire for stage and concert performance.
