Tierkreis is a cycle of twelve melodies by Karlheinz Stockhausen, composed in 1974–75. The work, originally written for music-box mechanisms and subsequently arranged for various solo instruments and ensembles, features concise diatonic melodic cells associated with the zodiac and exemplifies Stockhausen's mid-1970s interest in modular, flexible scoring and performer-driven realisation.
