Turandot is an opera by Giacomo Puccini, premiered in 1926. It is a late-Romantic Italian opera notable for colourful orchestration and expanded harmonic language, with dramatic vocal writing and rhythmic ideas drawn from East Asian sources, and it was Puccini's final work, left unfinished at his death.
