Mulatu of Ethiopia is a studio album by Ethiopian musician Mulatu Astatke, released in 1972. The album blends Ethiopian modal melodies and pentatonic scales with jazz harmonies, Latin percussion and funk-influenced grooves, and represents an early full-length exploration that helped establish the Ethio-jazz sound within Astatke's career and Ethiopian music history.
