Hungarian Rhapsodies is a set of nineteen piano rhapsodies by Hungarian composer Franz Liszt, composed between 1846 and 1885. The works draw on Hungarian folk melodies and Romani influences, feature virtuosic, technically demanding piano writing typical of the Romantic era, and occupy a notable place in Liszt's output for advancing nationalist elements and showmanship in solo piano repertoire.
