The Rhapsody for Saxophone and Orchestra is a rhapsody for alto saxophone and orchestra by Claude Debussy, composed between 1901 and 1903. The work employs Debussy's Impressionist harmonic language and emphasises lyrical saxophone lines set against delicate orchestral colour, representing a rare example in his output of solo wind writing and reflecting his exploration of novel timbres in the early 20th century.
