Missa Se la face ay pale is a cyclic mass by Franco-Flemish composer Guillaume Dufay, composed c. 1450. The work uses imitative polyphony and a pre-existing secular melody as structural material, yielding smooth contrapuntal textures and harmonic clarity characteristic of the Burgundian school, and it represents a central example of Dufay's mature mass writing and the mid-15th-century development of the cyclic mass.
