Soul Box Vol. 1 is a studio album by American saxophonist Grover Washington, Jr., released in 1973. It is a jazz-funk and soul-jazz record with warm electric keyboards, mellow saxophone lines and groove-based rhythms, and it was an early step in Washington's move towards a smoother, more accessible sound in the 1970s.
