Symphony No. 7 in E-major

Album by Anton Bruckner & Residentie Orkest & Carl Schuricht

Symphony No. 7 in E major is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1883. The work is a late-Romantic symphony characterised by expansive orchestration, prominent brass writing including Wagner tubas, and a broad, hymn-like slow movement composed in the wake of Richard Wagner's death; it was written during Bruckner's mature period and is numbered among his late symphonic output.
