Loaded is the Velvet Underground’s fourth studio album, released in 1970 on Cotillion Records, an Atlantic subsidiary. It shifts towards pop rock, features an expanded role for Doug Yule with Maureen Tucker largely absent due to maternity leave, and is the band’s final studio album recorded with Lou Reed.
