Iberia, Volume 2, Book 3 & 4

Iberia, Volume 2, comprising Books III and IV of the piano suite Iberia, is by Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz and was composed between 1905 and 1909. The music continues Albéniz's fusion of Spanish folk rhythms and modal harmonies with impressionistic piano textures, featuring complex rhythms, layered colours and vivid evocations of regional Spanish scenes that mark the later phase of his contribution to Spanish nationalist piano literature.
