The Messthetics is the debut studio album by American instrumental trio The Messthetics, released in 2018. The album is an instrumental blend of post-rock and jazz-influenced experimental rock that uses tight rhythms, angular guitar lines, varied dynamics and improvisation, and it was the members' first release that moved away from their earlier post-hardcore work toward melodic instrumental writing.
